Dr. Oren is a board-certified surgeon who is trained and experienced in treating a wide range of venous diseases. His state-of-the-art treatment center in South Bend offers the latest technology in varicose vein removal, including laser and ultrasound-guided procedures. Dr. Oren strives to provide the least invasive procedures with the best results for his patients, with a constant focus on top quality patient care.

Dr. Oren earned both his undergraduate and medical degree from Indiana University. He completed his surgical residency at Southern Illinois University, where he also served as chief resident for one year. After finishing his training, Dr. Oren came back to his hometown of South Bend, where he received his board-certification from the American Board of Surgery. In 1985, Dr. Oren opened his own practice, and then joined three other surgeons to form General Vascular Surgery, P.C. in 1987.

Dr. Oren has extensive training in minimally invasive laser techniques for treating spider and varicose veins. He is also skilled in radiofrequency ablative procedures and Transilluminated Powered Phlebectomy (TIPP). Dr. Oren is experienced in a variety of sclerotherapy procedures, including both foam and traditional sclerotherapy. He has a special interest in persistent venous ulceration after ablative or stripping procedures.
